12 Days of Giving

At Integrated Sports Nutrition, we believe in giving back to those we hold dear and even those who we don’t know! In a time focused on what we want for gifts, it can be nice to take a step back and give rather than receive. We are kicking off our holiday season with the 12 Days of Giving, where we challenge you to do one thing each day until Christmas to give back to those around you. You can use the ideas below or come up with your own! The important thing is to start giving back!

Day 1:

Pick out the perfect present for a friend or family member! Have an athlete in the family? Get them a Red Leaf Recovery Balm to help their hands recover from all the rough weights at the gym. And when you buy 1 Red Leaf Recovery Balm, get 20% off Red Leaf Pre Workout! Not an athlete? No problem! Red Leaf Recovery Balm is also helpful in healing skin irritation from cold weather, kitchen accidents (like stovetop burns, yikes!), and wrapping paper cuts. Check it out here.

Day 2:

Make a meal for a family going through a hard time. You never know how much a warm, home-cooked meal can make a difference when someone you know is hurting.

Day 3:

Pay for the person behind you at Starbucks. This is a quick, cheap, and easy way to make someone’s day a little brighter!

Day 4:

Make something warm for the homeless in your area! Knit a hat or get some mittens to help them stay warm in this cold season.

Day 5:

Shovel your elderly neighbor’s driveway. This is a great way to surprise someone on a cold morning!

Day 6:

Watch a friend’s kids so they and their spouse can have a nice date night without the kids!

Day 7:

Invite a friend over for a holiday meal who can’t make it home for the holidays. This is a great way to show someone who may be alone during the holidays how much you care about them!

Day 8:

Go to your local animal shelter and love on the animals! Who knows, you might meet a new best friend!

Day 9:

Volunteer at your local homeless shelter serving meals to the homeless.

Day 10:

Write a personalized Christmas card for a friend or family member you haven’t seen in a while.

Day 11:

Pay the toll for the person behind you as you’re driving home for Christmas!

Day 12:

Go for a walk and carry some dog biscuits with you! Pass them out to the pups you meet on your trip!
